Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications Leadership

Develop and execute integrated communications strategies that align with MCS’s business objectives, including transformation through 80/20, AI adoption, and customer‑centric innovation.

Serve as a trusted advisor to the SVP and MCS leadership team, leading communications holistically to inspire action and keep the entire team aligned through communications.

Drive communications holistically through key moments of change for the segment, including M&A and partnerships.

Executive & Employee Communications

Lead and execute all aspects of employee communication for the segment, including newsletters, quarterly town halls, segment Hub page, Viva Engage and ad‑hoc announcements.

Lead and execute executive visibility efforts, including speechwriting, internal messaging, and social media strategy for senior leaders.

Facilitate and execute SVP staff meetings, ensuring strategic alignment, clear communication of priorities, and follow‑through on decisions on a daily basis.

Design and deliver leadership events that foster collaboration, reinforce strategic goals, and build a unified leadership culture.

Partner with the entire MCS leadership team, particularly HR, Strategy, and Public Affairs, to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across functions and geographies.

Culture & Engagement

Support internal campaigns that connect employees to our mission, strategy, and customer impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations, preferably in a matrixed or global organization.

Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Strong project management and organizational capabilities.

Experience facilitating executive meetings and leadership events is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to lead through change and ambiguity with resilience and creativity.

The estimated salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
