Job Summary Support the Director, Events in planning, logistics, and general project management of events. Independently manage assigned events, including project management, vendor management, event design and production, event technology and mobile applications. Meet with, consult with, and support event stakeholders in all aspects of planning. Act as focal point for meeting and event support, lending expertise, leadership, and project management as needed in direct support of organizational and divisional objectives.

The position will manage the operations of the Dallas Hub space, a key role in representing The Standard’s onsite spaces as a place for employees to connect, engage and learn. This includes booking and managing onsite spaces, as well as full event planning including hotel blocks, catering, dinners, transport, activities and logistics for larger events.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities: 50% Event Planning & Execution

Ownership of all phases of assigned event execution, including project plan, budget management, regular communications with Director, Events, and leadership team, on‑site management of all event deliverables, and post‑event analysis.

Direct accountability for event logistics (site selection, vendor/supplier management, all participant travel/lodging/meals/entertainment, agenda, media, meeting space(s), etc.) and execution in accordance with meeting purpose, objectives and content requirements.

Manage onsite logistics and setups, oversee building setup and AV tech vendor contractors.

Liaise with multiple, enterprise‑wide stakeholders to plan events for all departments.

Research and maintain contracts and updated lists of various local suppliers.

30% Manage Logistics, Deliverables, and Technology Platforms

Oversee event technology platforms for EB and RP sales events such as manage event online registration system including designing registration websites and managing generated emails and reports.

Oversee mobile app technology platform including integration with registration site, app design, and communications.

Research and manage virtual event platforms and contracted vendors as needed.

Utilize industry benchmarks and professional organizations to improve event delivery and budget utilization, and to implement current best‑known‑practices within the profession.

10% Budgeting/Data Tracking

Administer budget previews and routine reporting for assigned events such as revenues, expenses, budget under/over‑run with accountability for all budget elements and outcomes, including maximizing budget by minimizing costs.

Audit and approve individual event invoices.

Oversee income taxation information provided to payroll for attendees.

10% Other Events, Projects, & Program Support

Other projects & programs in support of Director, Events and company leadership, and divisional sales objectives.

Skills and Background You’ll Need

Exceptional organization, event planning and logistics background.

Experience using technology tools to track metrics and results in support of the ROI for field events.

Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Creativity and problem‑solving skills.

Self‑motivated; highly driven to seek efficiencies in processes.

Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce recommended.

Strategy driven, with strong focus on metrics and data.

Job Specifications

Required education: High School Diploma

Preferred education: Bachelors degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.

Required experience: 2–3 years in corporate event and/or meeting planning with large scale attendance at the national level.

Preferred professional licensure or certification: CMP.

Location Employees in this role must be available to commute to an office or otherwise must be in a specific geographic location to perform the functions of the job.

Travel Requirements Occasional travel only (such as for planning purposes, team‑building, or conferences) may be required.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on a variety of factors including individual and organizational performance.

Performance guarantees may be applied to roles with highly incentivized compensation plans for a specified period of time to support a new hire’s transition into the sales incentive plan.

Compensation is made up of a base salary, incentives, and/or other bonuses when applicable. This is a minimum range that can be increased based on performance and sales activity.

Salary Range: $64,250.00 – $94,000.00
