Digital Marketing Coordinator
– Vital Design Location: Portsmouth, NH (non‑remote for year 1; ideal candidates should be local to the New Hampshire seacoast area). Salary range: $45,000 – $75,000. Minimum experience: 2 + years in a digital marketing or agency setting.
Vital is seeking an organized and energetic coordinator to execute digital marketing and creative services initiatives that support our client strategies. As part of the Digital Marketing Production Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting internal teams and clients by setting up digital marketing tools and providing production support for creative services projects.
Responsibilities
Complete Vital‑created training on core production tasks (reporting, link building, monthly maintenance, page building).
Work with account managers, strategists, and production team members to execute and report on client projects and digital strategies.
Stay up to date on our evolving tech stack and apply your knowledge daily.
Collaborate with the internal team by providing support, troubleshooting, and best‑practice guidance for all digital marketing tools.
Learn and use new tools as needed and provide internal support for client initiatives.

An Ideal Candidate Will
Be inbound‑marketing certified (via HubSpot). Technical proficiencies:
Microsoft Office, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Looker Studio, Google Analytics (GA4), basic marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, Campaign Monitor) and other inbound marketing tools (Moz, HotJar, SEMRush, HeyOrca, Zapier, CallRail, MailChimp, OptinMonster).
Have a working knowledge of WordPress and website‑building concepts.
Be competent in email marketing software (email drafting, segmentation, lead‑nurture workflows).
Understand blogging, SEO, link building, social media marketing, conversion‑rate optimization, and KPI tracking.
Possess experience with quality testing websites and documenting issues.
Examples of Coordinator Responsibilities
Report on monthly client progress using Looker Studio, Supermetrics, Google Analytics, HubSpot, and other tools.
Develop relationships with website editors to drive link‑building strategy.
Work within email marketing software to draft, segment, and set up lead‑nurture workflows.
Build website pages in WordPress.
Draft, publish, and promote SEO‑optimized blog posts on social media.
Populate client websites with provided copy and images.
Test client websites for design and functionality.
Execute digital‑marketing‑tool setup and provide troubleshooting support and tool insight.
