Overview

The Regional Media & Marketing Manager will be responsible for Tier 2 (Ad Group) Planning and Strategy within the Midwest Region, with the goal of maximizing the effectiveness of the regional Advertising Association funds. The candidate will be the primary liaison between the regional management team and the Ad Group partner agency. The RMM will lead the development, implementation, presentation and optimization of all Ad Group media plans within the Midwest Region. These plans will include the following media tactics: Digital, Social, Video, TV, Radio, Auto Shows and Events. Plans will be presented quarterly to the Ad Groups for dealer concurrence before implementation (presentations will rotate between in-person and virtual). This position will report directly to the Marketing Director and will be based out of the Midwest Region.

Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, presentation and optimization of Ad Group media plans within the Midwest Region.

Serve as the primary liaison between regional management and the Ad Group partner agency.

Develop media plans across Digital, Social, Video, TV, Radio, Auto Shows and Events.

Present plans quarterly to the Ad Groups for dealer concurrence (in-person or virtual presentations).

Report to the Marketing Director; based in the Midwest Region.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline.

At least 5 years of experience in marketing, brand positioning, digital media, and/or media strategy.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex reporting data and make data-driven media planning decisions.

Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies.

Strong leadership and communications skills (written and verbal).

Detail-oriented with excellent project management and organizational skills.

Executive-level presentation skills.

Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Must reside within or be willing to relocate to the Metro Detroit area.

Preferred Qualifications

Automotive experience (OEM/Agency/Dealership).
