Pay Range: $15.00/hr - $16.60/hr Non-Teaching Rate and up to $22.20/hr Total Teaching Rate depending on background and experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach music lessons to students according to the Guitar Center Lessons curriculum.
• Increase student count, ensuring each student grows and enjoys playing music while nurturing culture of integrity, inclusion, and respect.
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount based on community needs.
• Assist with customer service as needed, building long‑term relationships.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Student & Parent Partnership

• Communicate frequently with students and families, building trust and acknowledging parents' knowledge.
• Report student progress and share goals with parents.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field.
• Ability to teach the instrument you are proficient in (Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, etc.).
• Demonstrated competency and proficiency in the area you will be teaching.
