This role is for a senior communications leader at a publicly traded Tampa‑based consumer brand portfolio, seeking to drive national visibility across business media platforms. It is a remote position based in New York with travel to Tampa.

Location and Travel

Remote – must live in New York; travel to Tampa required.

Compensation

Base pay: $180,000 – $250,000 per year.

Employment Type

Full‑time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated media strategy aligned with quarterly earnings, product launches, and crypto initiatives.
• Manage external agencies and coordinate media outreach.
• Proactively pitch stories to top‑tier outlets (CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, Yahoo Finance, leading podcasts) to secure consistent executive visibility.
• Manage relationships with journalists, producers, and editors across financial, tech, and consumer verticals.
• Create executive talking points and thought leadership content.
• Collaborate with internal marketing to amplify exposure across digital channels.

Qualifications

• 15 years of experience, including work in a public company.
• Strong media contacts and full in‑house communications experience.
• Proven track record of placements in national business media.
• Comfort working directly with C‑suite leadership.
• Experience in financial PR, public company communications, and crypto market narratives is highly preferred.
