POSITION IS BASED IN TAMPA In-House PR & Media Director for Publicly traded company, reporting directly to CEO.

A publicly traded Tampa based consumer brand portfolio is seeking a strategic, media-facing communications leader to drive national visibility across business media platforms. As Public Relations & Media Director, youll lead all external media initiatives, positioning the company as a thought leader in both consumer products and cryptocurrency.

This role is responsible for developing and executing an integrated media strategy aligned with quarterly earnings, product launches, and crypto initiatives. As well as managing external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead all external media initiatives, positioning the company as a thought leader in both consumer products and cryptocurrency.
• Develop and execute an integrated media strategy aligned with quarterly earnings, product launches, and crypto initiatives.
• Manage external agencies.
• Proactively pitch stories to top-tier outlets (CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, Yahoo Finance, leading podcasts) and secure executive visibility.
• Manage relationships with journalists, producers, and editors across financial, tech, and consumer verticals.
• Create executive talking points and thought leadership content, while collaborating with internal marketing to amplify exposure across digital channels.

Qualifications

• Ideal candidates bring 10 years of PR/media experience, a strong track record of placements in national business media, and comfort working directly with C-suite leadership.
• Experience in financial PR, public company communications, and crypto market narratives is highly preferred.
• Relocation stipend provided.
