About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate SEO & Digital Marketing Specialist to strengthen Nuvia’s online presence and visibility.

You will help our team ensure that when people search for topics like mental health for girls in Africa, healing circles, or education empowerment, they find Nuvia.

Working closely with the Communications Officer, you’ll use SEO best practices and digital tools to amplify Nuvia’s impact, support our Google Ads & YouTube campaigns, and measure how our message reaches the world.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct keyword research related to Nuvia’s mission (mental health, girls’ education, trauma recovery, empowerment).
  • Optimize website content, blogs, and news posts for search engine visibility (titles, meta tags, alt text, internal links).
  • Support Google Ads and YouTube Ads volunteers with ad targeting, analytics, and performance optimization.
  • Track and analyze web traffic, audience engagement, and campaign results using Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Recommend ongoing improvements to website structure, performance, and SEO ranking.
  • Prepare short monthly reports highlighting insights, growth, and next steps.

Ideal Skills

  • Knowledge of SEO principles and tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Yoast, SEMrush, or similar).
  • Experience with Google Ads, YouTube Ads, or other digital marketing platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (English required, French a plus).
  • Interest in social impact, youth empowerment, or nonprofit storytelling.

If you feel connected to Nuvia’s mission, please apply - even if your skills don’t perfectly align. We welcome volunteers who bring heart, creativity, and the desire to grow with us.

Why Volunteer with Nuvia

At Nuvia, you’ll be part of a compassionate, multicultural team working to restore hope and dignity for girls and young women in Africa. Volunteers and interns gain hands-on experience in nonprofit operations, international development, and mental health advocacy - all while helping us build a future where every girl can heal and rise.

Duration: 3–6 months (renewable)
