Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Position Summary and Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and associates verbally and in writing.
  • Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production quality, safety).
  • Monitor and manage productivity of the area by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures, monitoring compliance and distributing procedures.
  • Identify associate, customer, and/or supplier concerns and recommend corrective actions.
  • Supervise and develop associates and leaders: assign duties, monitor performance, provide feedback, train, coach, and evaluate.
  • Manage daily operations of the maintenance department, ensuring performance related to maintaining warehouse equipment (material handling, pneumatic, electrical, air compressors, refrigeration, building repairs) and compliance with OSHA, hazardous waste, NFPA, storm water, DOT, etc.
  • Manage financial aspects: monitor expenses, capital expenditures, asset utilization, budgets and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or Technical School Certification in an industrial‑related field and 1 year related maintenance supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business, industrial, or related field.
  • 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; and participating in hiring and promotion.
  • 2‑year Walmart logistics maintenance experience, including six months leading a work or project team.
  • 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial‑related environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion; and 1 year experience in maintenance field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Compliance, general maintenance, Microsoft Office, refrigeration equipment for supermarkets, supervising associates, warehouse management systems.
  • Bachelors: Business, Bachelors: Logistics.
