Position Summary What you’ll do Communicate with or to individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g., customers, suppliers, associates). Implement the business plan for the area of responsibility by communicating goals, managing staffing and scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads to achieve facility goals (e.g., production, quality, safety). Monitor and manage productivity of the area of responsibility by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports. Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies, standards, and procedures; monitoring associate compliance; distributing and maintaining procedures and supporting documentation. Identify associate, customer, or supplier concerns by listening and consulting with others when needed to determine corrective action or recommendations to resolve. Supervise and develop associates and leaders by assigning duties, coordinating workloads, monitoring performance, providing feedback, teaching, supporting, and modeling logistics company policies and procedures; identifying training and development needs; participating in hiring, promotion, coaching, and evaluation. Manage maintenance department daily operations by monitoring and ensuring performance related to maintaining warehouse equipment (e.g., material handling equipment, pneumatic systems, electrical systems, air compressors, ammonia refrigeration equipment), general building repairs, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, Hazardous Waste, NFPA, Storm Water, DOT). Manage financial aspects by monitoring expenses, capital expenditures compared to budget, monitoring asset utilization, and preparing and analyzing business reports. Training will include Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, and other job‑required assessments. The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 – $120,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, regional pay zone adjustments, and stock awards. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s degree or technical‑school certification in an industrial‑related field + 1 year related maintenance department supervisory experience. Bachelor’s degree in business, industrial, or a related field. 1 year supervisory experience in a maintenance‑related environment (supervising, evaluating, mentoring, developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion of employees). 2 years Walmart Logistics maintenance experience, including 6 months leading a work or project team (e.g., risk control). 2 years supervisory experience in an industrial‑related environment; supervising, evaluating, mentoring, developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion of employees; with 1 year experience in the maintenance field. Preferred Qualifications Compliance, general maintenance, Microsoft Office, refrigeration equipment – supermarkets, overseeing associates, warehouse management systems.
