Overview

Riviera Dining Group (RDG) is seeking a highly skilled Influencer & Community Specialist to represent our brand voice, engage customers, and shape community strategies across virtual and real‑world spaces.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms to engage with the community and address any questions or concerns.
  • Identify trends and patterns in customer feedback to provide insights to the broader team and improve brand services and messaging.
  • Build relationships with key influencers, advocates, and customers to foster brand advocacy and generate user‑generated content.
  • Manage influencer outreach for brand collaborations and partnership opportunities.
  • Maintain Riviera Dining Group’s social media posting calendars.
  • Create a community building strategy for RDG social media accounts to engage & inform employees, investors, and others about upcoming hirings, announcements, and partnerships.
  • Escalate issues and customer complaints to appropriate internal teams for timely resolution.
  • Develop crisis management protocols to address potential negative online events that could impact brand reputation.
  • Moderate online communities, including forums, groups, and social media channels, to ensure positive engagement and brand reputation.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, branding, customer service, reservations) to align community initiatives with business goals.
  • Use social media listening and analytics tools to monitor brand mentions and sentiment online and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in community marketing and social media.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in community management, social media management, or a related field.
  • Hospitality experience required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers, influencers, and partners.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and management tools (e.g., Canva, Iconosquare).
  • Understanding of social media analytics and engagement metrics.
  • Knowledge of content marketing best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills; proactive issue identification and resolution.
