Associate Account Director / Account Director, Influencer Marketing

Acceleration Partners seeks an experienced senior‑level digital marketing professional to manage cross‑regional teams and serve as a high‑level client liaison for our influencer marketing practice.

Location

Remote, work‑from‑home; occasional travel up to 25% (incl. international).

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio Growth: Provide high‑level strategy and partnership to meet program goals, drive expansion and growth KPIs.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee account teams, hire, coach, and develop talent; maintain team happiness and retention.
  • Client Service: Act as primary contact for client escalations, maintain 95% resolution rate, and ensure high client satisfaction (NPS 8+).
  • Profitability & Resource Allocation: Manage utilization, staffing plans, adjust scopes, and increase portfolio revenue.
  • Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Sales, Ops to scale business, lead process improvements, and mitigate risks.

Success Metrics

  • By 6 months: Manage multiple influencer programs independently, achieve month‑over‑month growth, and maintain NPS 8+.
  • By 1 year: Fully accountable for program performance, secure client retention, drive profitable outcomes, and pitch expansion opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • 6+ years in digital marketing or agency environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven leadership track record with hiring, coaching, and performance management.
  • Experience running influencer campaigns for consumer products/services.
  • Knowledge of attribution, affiliate marketing, and influencer tools (CreatorIQ/GRIN). Knowledge of affiliate networks (Impact, ShareASale, CJ) is a plus.
  • Travel up to 25% including internationally.
  • Advanced Excel, data analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Outstanding customer service and strategic thinking.
  • Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
