Overview
Senior Analyst, Marketing Analytics at Pernod Ricard. The Marketing Performance team leads company-wide decision making around brand growth strategies, pricing, and market forecasting. The Senior Analyst will support marketing analytics programs, including the Matrix marketing mix model, data validation, tabulation, and report preparation. Strong experience with advanced analytics methodologies and clear communications are required. Key Responsibilities
Prepare biannual brand marketing mix modeling presentations, including data visualization and insights. Prepare analytics brand briefs for the data science team. Validate modeling results by comparing to sales and other reporting; identify discrepancies and possible causes. Validate input data for modeling (data pulls, composite models, data set synchronization, etc.). Support training of models. Pull, tabulate, and analyze media, marketing activity, and sales data as needed. Support ad hoc analytics and analytics pilots. Plan, manage, and report the status of all assigned work; communicate priorities and risks/issues related to quality/timeline expectations. Support insights-to-action sessions with the business to deploy analytical outputs. Required Skills & Abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Math, Statistics, or related field. Expert Excel experience. Expert data visualization experience (charting, data-based storytelling). Statistical programming experience (e.g., SPSS, R, SAS, Python). Certificate or experience with advanced modeling techniques (e.g., Bayesian modeling, regression, clustering). Nielsen, NABCA or Circana experience desirable. 3+ years in an analytics role (machine learning, choice modeling, MMM, etc.) for a CPG company. Strong quantitative skills with high attention to detail. Experience with complex data environments and collaboration with IT to ensure proper support. Beverages/Alc Bev, CPG, or Consulting experience highly preferred. Education
Required: BA. Preferred: master’s degree in statistics, market research, or econometrics. Level Of Impact
