Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to support our dynamic PR team in fostering positive relationships with the media and the public. In this role, you will play a crucial part in executing public relations strategies that enhance the company’s image and reputation. You will assist in the development and distribution of press materials, manage media inquiries, and help coordinate press events.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting press releases, media alerts, and other communication materials
• Support the planning and execution of PR events such as press conferences and outreach programs
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor PR strategies, and media coverage
• Maintain and update the media contact database and distribution lists
• Monitor media coverage and compile reports on PR campaign effectiveness
• Assist in managing social media platforms and content development

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Prior internship or experience in public relations or communications is a plus
