What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Manage and execute media and public relations efforts for corporate products and regional health plans
• Provide strategic communication counsel and guidance to subsidiaries within assigned regions
• Oversee the review and approval process for public relations activities between subsidiaries and corporate senior management
• Monitor and analyze industry trends and recommend action plans
• Oversee corporate public relations efforts related to national programs and business development activities

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in media relations, public relations, or communications
• Experience in a managed care, insurance, or healthcare environment preferred
• Strong strategic communication skills
• Proven ability to manage public relations initiatives and issues effectively
