Overview

The LoopRoots Foundation is a nonprofit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to supporting justice-impacted families through transportation, therapy, and technology-driven programs. Our mission is to remove the physical, financial, and emotional barriers that prevent families from maintaining meaningful connections with incarcerated loved ones, accessing mental health care, or navigating reentry. Founded in 2025, LoopRoots operates nationally, with an initial focus on underserved communities in Maryland, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, California, and Virginia.

Our key initiatives include:

  • LoopConnect — A ride credit sponsorship platform that provides free or subsidized rides to prison visitation facilities, helping families stay in contact during incarceration.
  • LoopTalk — A HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy program offering trauma-informed mental health care to justice-impacted individuals and caregivers, including children.
  • LoopTroop Rideshare Partnership — We collaborate with the LoopTroop Rideshare platform to ensure families have access to safe, reliable, and culturally competent transportation services.

The LoopRoots Foundation is committed to using community-based, technology-enabled tools to restore dignity, promote healing, and reduce generational harm. All programs are offered without discrimination to build a supportive ecosystem for families across the U.S.

Position overview

LoopRoots is seeking a volunteer Stylist (Editorial & Brand Wardrobe) to craft and coordinate wardrobe and styling for the Founder on upcoming leadership, impact, and on-camera projects. This role bridges creative vision, brand ethics, and on-set execution — helping to present our Founder’s story in alignment with our mission and aesthetics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and recommend 2–3 potential stylists (local or remote) with experience in editorial or on-camera styling, brand-aligned wardrobe for leadership projects, and partnerships with ethical/socially-minded brands.
  • Set up introductory calls for the Founder to meet recommended stylists, review portfolios, discuss rates and creative vision.
  • Confirm the selected stylist’s deliverables.
  • Wardrobe planning for 3–4 distinct looks (Founder interview, community shots, press/event).
  • Collaborate on securing brand loans or wardrobe partnerships with ethical/socially-conscious labels.
  • Provide on-set presence during filming (if local) or virtual support (if remote) to ensure styling aligns with brand vision.

Ideal Candidate

  • Background in editorial or on-camera styling, especially for leadership, brand campaigns, or impact-driven projects.
  • A strong passion for ethical fashion, conscious brands, and purposeful storytelling.
  • Excellent organization, communication, and coordination skills; ability to manage multiple deliverables and stakeholders.
  • Flexible and collaborative mindset — comfortable working across creative, branding, and media teams.

Time Commitment & Details

  • Estimated total commitment 4–6 weeks, with a flexible schedule around shoot dates and intro calls.
  • Volunteer role; this position is unpaid but offers a meaningful opportunity to expand your portfolio with a mission-driven organization, build relationships with changemakers, and contribute to a high-visibility creative campaign.
  • Remote or hybrid engagements are possible; location preference for local presence during shoot is a plus.
