P&C License
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Risk Management, or related field (preferred).
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CPCU, CIC) are a plus.
Proven track record of successful business development and sales in the insurance industry.
Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite.
Responsibilities
Identify and target potential clients within the commercial sector.
Network and establish relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers to generate leads and referrals.
Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to stay updated on market trends and build connections.
Conduct thorough assessments of clients' businesses to understand their unique insurance requirements.
Analyze risks associated with clients' operations, assets, and liabilities.
Collaborate with underwriters and risk management teams to develop comprehensive insurance proposals.
Design and present tailored insurance solutions that address clients' specific needs and risk exposures.
Explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and understandable manner to clients.
Provide expert advice on coverage options, policy limits, and deductibles.
Request quotes from insurance carriers based on clients' needs and risk profiles.
Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing to secure the most advantageous coverage for clients.
Compare and analyze multiple insurance options to make informed recommendations.
Prepare accurate and complete insurance applications, proposals, and contracts.
Ensure that all client documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards.
Maintain proper records of client interactions, policies, and endorsements.
Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients, fostering trust and loyalty.
Provide ongoing support, address client inquiries, and manage policy changes.
Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure coverage remains aligned with clients' evolving needs.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging risks, and changes in regulations that could impact clients' insurance needs.
Monitor competitors' offerings and pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness.
