The Marketing Program Manager is responsible for implementing the strategy and the day-to-day planning and execution of marketing initiatives that support brand visibility for the Schulze Center including the services lines that will be part of it: the Rooney Heart Institute, the Wingard Stroke Institute and Vascular service lines. This role is ideal for a hands-on marketing professional with 3–5 years of experience who excels at juggling multiple projects, managing social media content and delivering successful events such as the annual Cardio Summit. You’ll work cross-functionally with marketing and communications, clinical teams, administrative and external agencies to deliver high-impact programs that advance the service line’s strategic goals. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned. Marketing & Digital Execution

Partner with the Social Media Manager and marketing leadership to align digital strategies with enterprise goals. Develop and manage content calendars across key platforms (social media, email, internal communications). Write, schedule, and publish engaging social media content, to spotlight patient stories, physician expertise, donor impact, and community events. Support with physician marketing and integrated campaigns in conjunction with the marcoms team. Project & Program Management

Own the execution of marketing programs and initiatives ensuring alignment with goals and timelines. Develop briefs, manage feedback loops, and oversee final delivery of marketing assets and communications. Responsible for swag and marketing materials. Responsible for print orders and developing materials such as rack cards, flyers, business cards and physician onboarding materials. Event Marketing – Cardio Summit Marketing and Communications Lead

Plan, promote, and manage the marketing and communications for the annual Cardio Summit event. Develop branding, coordinate speakers and agendas, manage registration, and oversee promotional outreach. Execute event marketing through email, web, social media, and print. Analyze post-event metrics and feedback to inform improvements. Support with swag and marketing materials. Content Development & Storytelling

Identify and help produce compelling stories about patients, clinicians, and community impact. Collaborate with internal teams to package and share content across platforms. Ensure messaging aligns with brand voice and drives engagement. Help coordinate photo shoots, video shoots and any production needs of the marketing and communications team. Develop production books, serve as a producer on site for shoots. Patient Education Marketing

Plan and promote educational webinars targeting patients and caregivers. Develop and distribute videos and explainer content that support patient understanding of diagnoses, procedures, and wellness topics. Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure accuracy and relevance of educational materials. Ensure educational content is optimized for digital platforms, including web, email, and social media. Support the development of printed educational materials and tools used in clinics and outreach settings. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or project management (healthcare or nonprofit a plus). Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines with strong attention to detail. Experience with event marketing and coordination. Strong writing and editing skills for both digital and print. Proficient with tools like LinkedIn, Canva, email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact or HubSpot), and project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello or Monday). Team-oriented with strong collaboration and communication skills.
