Position Summary
As a key member of Phoenix Children’s Marketing team, the Branding and Consumer Strategies Manager plays an integral role in marketing Phoenix Children’s physicians and other providers, medical specialties, facilities and other offerings to acquire new patients, retain existing ones, enhance loyalty and build the brand. This professional develops and executes strategic marketing plans to increase revenue and profitability. The manager also serves as the point person for all system branding initiatives, including the branding agency relationship, and as the marketing point‑person for Phoenix Children’s professional sports partnerships, high school and sports league programs. Reporting to the Director of Consumer Strategies, this professional also manages marketing for non‑COE key service lines and at least four other medical programs and services.
Position Duties
Annual Marketing & Communications Plan : Develops and executes the annual service line strategic marketing plan(s), focusing on patient acquisition and retention, using financial and market share data to set goals, strategies and KPIs; maintains quality of strategy and plans; manages service line digital content and social media; oversees mystery‑shopping initiatives; serves as marketing point of contact for non‑COE key service lines and at least four other medical programs.
Ad Campaigns & Other Key Marketing Initiatives : Acts as point of contact for service line leadership; develops and executes multi‑channel advertising, marketing, web and social media campaigns; collaborates with agency and internal resources for creative; manages campaign content distribution; ensures operational readiness before launch; analyzes industry and service line trends.
Branding : Serves as project manager for Phoenix Children’s rebranding initiatives, coordinating with the branding agency.
Sports Partnerships : Leads marketing for all professional sports sponsorships, sports activation and community strategies, and sports programs for community schools and leagues; manages agency relationships for potential sponsorship opportunities.
Budget & Monitoring : Develops and manages service line marketing budget; tracks and measures all campaigns and activities; provides quarterly reports to stakeholders; performs miscellaneous duties as requested.

Position Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a closely related field; equivalent education and experience may substitute.
Experience : 3+ years in a marketing, advertising, communications or public relations capacity; experience in digital marketing.
Special Skills : Strong project management, multitasking and decision‑making skills; problem‑solver thriving in a fast‑paced environment; excellent written and verbal communication; demonstrated commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
