Our client, a leading financial company, is hiring an Audio Video Technician on a contract basis to support the AV infrastructure of a dynamic, multi‑floor corporate headquarters.
Summary:
- Support AV systems across digital signage networks, event spaces, live production control rooms, and conference facilities.
- Maintain and operate AV equipment including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, video conferencing systems, and control panels.
- Provide technical support for corporate events, town halls, live broadcasts, and executive meetings.
- Collaborate with IT, Facilities, Communications teams; train end‑users.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment and digital signage across multiple floors.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on AV systems.
- Respond to AV‑related service requests and incidents promptly; diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
- Provide on‑site support for meetings and high‑profile events.
- Maintain accurate records of AV setups, configurations, and maintenance logs; track inventory and recommend upgrades.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
- Train end‑users on AV system usage and best practices.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in corporate AV support or live event production.
- Proficiency with AV technologies such as Crestron, Extron, QSC, Dante, Zoom Rooms, and digital signage platforms.
- Strong understanding of signal flow, networking basics, and AV over IP.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and work flexible hours as needed.
Preferred Certifications
- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
- Crestron or Extron programming certifications
- Dante Level 1 or higher
