Audio Video Technician – Contract

Our client, a leading financial company, is hiring an Audio Video Technician on a contract basis to support the AV infrastructure of a dynamic, multi‑floor corporate headquarters.

Summary:

  • Support AV systems across digital signage networks, event spaces, live production control rooms, and conference facilities.
  • Maintain and operate AV equipment including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, video conferencing systems, and control panels.
  • Provide technical support for corporate events, town halls, live broadcasts, and executive meetings.
  • Collaborate with IT, Facilities, Communications teams; train end‑users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain AV equipment and digital signage across multiple floors.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on AV systems.
  • Respond to AV‑related service requests and incidents promptly; diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues.
  • Provide on‑site support for meetings and high‑profile events.
  • Maintain accurate records of AV setups, configurations, and maintenance logs; track inventory and recommend upgrades.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Train end‑users on AV system usage and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, IT, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in corporate AV support or live event production.
  • Proficiency with AV technologies such as Crestron, Extron, QSC, Dante, Zoom Rooms, and digital signage platforms.
  • Strong understanding of signal flow, networking basics, and AV over IP.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment and work flexible hours as needed.

Preferred Certifications

  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist)
  • Crestron or Extron programming certifications
  • Dante Level 1 or higher
