Mandel is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Community Manager to oversee Norden Range, a 270‑unit apartment community situated in beautiful lake country. This key position involves collaborating closely with the regional manager, accounting department, HR, development team, and others within Mandel to effectively manage the community while acting as the onsite business leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Leasing Focus: As this is a lease‑up community, driving leasing efforts is of utmost importance to achieve success.
- Team Development: Foster and develop an exceptional team by recruiting top talent, implementing training programs for success, and motivating your team to excel.
- Resident Satisfaction: Strive to continuously meet or exceed resident satisfaction through effective management and engagement strategies.
- Operational Leadership: Oversee community operations, including expense control, maximizing rental income, devising marketing plans, monitoring the physical aspects of the property, and managing resident move‑ins and move‑outs in adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead by Example: Exhibit professionalism and set high expectations for your team.
- Creative Program Management: Develop and manage innovative programs that enhance property value and offer valuable services to residents.
- Social Media Management: Create and manage engaging social media content that showcases the lifestyle, amenities, and resident experiences to attract and retain prospective renters.
- Reporting and Communication: Generate/complete monthly reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Property Manager (ARM/CAM designation is a plus but not mandatory).
- Exceptional organizational skills with a knack for prioritization and effective communication.
- Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule to ensure seamless property operations and attend community functions and outreach during the lease‑up period.
- Strong numerical aptitude with knowledge of basic financial reporting and accounting methods.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, successfully meeting deadlines and overcoming challenges.
