About the role
The Expeditor (Expo) role is a support position for our Hospitality Team. The Expo is responsible for food coming out accurately and on time to the guests. They will review all plated items for accuracy and work actively coach Culinary team on execution.
What you'll do
Evaluating all food coming from kitchen for recipe adherence and presentation standards. Setting the pace for ticket times, carefully monitoring flow of food from kitchen. Working with Culinary team on any needed adjustments. Accuracy, quality, and packaging of all to go orders. Running food and serving guests as needed. Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of expo/food window. Inspires passion and engagement across all teams. Coachable: receives and implements feedback quickly Approachable: forges strong interpersonal connections with folks of all skill levels. Impactful: communicates and conveys concepts in a way the individual will understand and respond with engagement. Culture: participates in an inclusive and quality focused culture, utilizing thoughtful communication as guidepost for fellow team members, customers, and consumers.
Qualifications
Specialty coffee experience is a plus.
Reliable transportation, able to travel to all locations.
Able to work nights and weekends.
Strong team building skills, clear communication.
Great organizational skills, problem solving ability, and intuitive resourcefulness.
High initiative and self-management skills, willing to take direction.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, ~8 hours each workday.
