Part-Time Grant Developer
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Job Function
1. Responsible for conducting the full range of activities required to prepare, submit, and manage grant proposals to foundation, corporate and other funding sources which includes:
2. Develop, write and edit grant proposals and funding applications as directed by the needs of the Foundation and review and edit documents related to grant development including, but not limited to proposals, budgets, inquiry letters and grant reports.
3. Collaborate with Foundation staff, college leadership, and program stakeholders to gather data and narratives for proposals.
4. Maintain accurate records in the Foundations donor database tracking donor engagement and current/future proposal status.
5. Assist with development and administer an outreach plan to potential college grant stakeholders to ensure department/program growth and timely submission of proposals and reports.
6. Track and report on proposal outcomes, funding received, and grant performance metrics.
7. Provide and support faculty and staff training initiatives, workshops and seminars as needed.
8. Assist with stewardship activities, including donor recognition, impact reporting, and relationship management.
Additional Job Functions:
- Serve on college committees where needed to facilitate the grants programs.
 - Represent the Foundation at community events, stakeholder’s meetings, and professional development workshops.
 - Support Foundation-led campaigns and initiatives through grant-related and other fundraising activities.
 
REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
This position requires strong written and communication skills with experience in technical writing in higher education or similar environment. The most important personality traits for this position are organization, integrity, detail-oriented, self-starting, and flexibility.
