We’re seeking a
Volunteer Social Media Coordinator
to help manage and grow our social media presence. You’ll use your creativity and passion for nature to share inspiring stories, promote native seeds, and engage a community of gardeners, conservationists, and wildlife lovers. Your work will directly help generate funding for large-scale native habitat projects. Responsibilities Manage and schedule posts across our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram; potentially expanding to TikTok, Pinterest, etc.) Create engaging content such as photos, reels, stories, and graphics (templates and assets provided) Monitor and respond to comments/messages to foster community engagement Collaborate with our team to plan seasonal campaigns, promotions, and educational posts Track social media trends and suggest creative ways to increase reach and engagement Report on basic metrics (reach, engagement, followers) to help guide future content Qualifications Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Instagram Reels, Facebook Business Suite) Good written communication skills with a friendly, inspiring tone Interest in native plants, biodiversity, gardening, or conservation (experience not required but a plus) Self-motivated and able to work independently with light guidance Ability to dedicate 4–6 hours per week What You’ll Gain Make a
