General Job Description The Marketing and Communications Assistant is a member of the Marketing Team and is under the supervision of the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. The Marketing and Communications Assistant supports the implementation and management of marketing strategies and assists with the administrative functions of the College's marketing objectives.

Duties

Provide high-level, tailored administrative support to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. Work with the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications to track and report the College's marketing campaigns and initiatives. Coordinate the workflow of marketing projects with internal and external audiences. Assist with changes and updates to the college website. Assist with use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software as it relates to application in the Office of College Marketing. Assist in implementing training for appropriate social media usage and brand adherence across college departments and groups. Manage Office of College Marketing print production, including ordering and maintaining supplies, operating machines, and handling reprint requests, Manage promotional and branded inventory for the Office of College Marketing. Produce and disseminate weekly internal newsletter. Assist in tracking and processing of expense and purchase order workflow and ensure that they are prepared and submitted on a timely basis. Coordinate the preparation of Request for Quotes (RFQs) for marketing services, adhering to the College's purchasing policy. Performs all other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications. Required and Preferred Qualifications Required:

Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field; or high school diploma with at least 5 years of experience in office management. Experience in a position that demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills. Experience in a position that demonstrates office organizational skills, including tracking, coordination, documentation, and digital organization Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation graphics. Experience providing support to a multi-faceted team. Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in related field. Experience in a community college setting. Experience in graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite -Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, etc.). Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. College Requirements of all Employees
