Position Specific Summary Research, development, and implementation of social media strategies to help grow the Clinics' social media presence; Meet with leadership to share ideas, communicate goals, capture new information on client stories and internal Clinic activities that we can promote publicly; Assist with content management and presence on the following platforms: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, and LinkedIn; Assist with developing language for the Clinics' marketing purposes; Post fresh content each week to social media pages and stories; Strategize, implement growth methods for the Clinics' desired audiences; Interact, respond to posts from clients and other community partner accounts on behalf of the Clinics; Compile and analyze trend data from our social media pages to report on the success of campaigns Manage and/or design marketing and communication strategies and content for departments and/or special events. Tasks may include:
Planning, creating, managing and executing marketing plans and campaigns, website resources, digital content and design, and/or managing of social media accounts.
While completing work with a high degree of discretion, the student will work within organization's marketing standards and guidelines. Special projects or other duties for the GW Law Clinics and Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies may be assigned. Support the faculty with clerical tasks. Greeting individuals when they arrive at the building.

Required Qualifications
Previous skills, training, or experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of marketing apps Wordpress, Canva and design tools. Helpful to have some marketing experience. Video editing experience (iMovie), experience with social media planning platforms such as Planoly and Hootsuite are a plus. An entrepreneurial spirit and aptitude to learning will be welcomed.
