Job Summary

A Leader in steel building solutions is looking for their next Designer. This is a direct hire opportunity located in White Hall, AR. In this role, you will provide structural design and modeling services using engineering systems and drawings to support project coordination and customer satisfaction. Your work will ensure the structural integrity of each project and collaborate with engineers and project stakeholders, meeting design schedules and continually improving technical knowledge.
Location: White Hall, AR
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year
Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Entry level position

Preferred Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam

Responsibilities

• Provides well utilized designs of members and connections for Detailing and Manufacturing that meet customer's requirements
• Assures building's structural integrity and safety
• Develops own basic product and procedure knowledge and improve technical knowledge
• Focuses on achieving department objective and profitability goals and continuous improvement as part of a high-performance work team
• Assures customer design service needs are met by meeting design schedules
• Collaborates with project teams to discuss problems and challenges and help create solutions to move forward in a cost effective and efficient manner
• Provides technical assistance to customers on specific projects
