Our client is seeking a Design Modeler, who will be responsible for learning and delegating task execution of projects ranging in scope and scale with oversight. They receive feedback and guidance from a technical lead who is responsible for the model and drawing quality.

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (11:00 PM – 8:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Produce structural drawings and create Revit Models that meet quality standards:
    • Check the quality of own work
    • Handle project detailing and annotation
    • Conduct basic model execution and revision
    • Ensure construction documents are accurately modeled
    • Follow BIM content standards and development procedures
    • Provide high level options for technical lead for areas that require direction
  • Execute Sprint Plan tasks:
    • Review delegated tasks, communicate learning or questions, commit, and execute plan of approach and check in cadence
    • Communicate early and often when roadblocks to the plan are identified
    • Develop understanding of personal efficiency in areas of proficiency
  • Participate in client coordination:
    • Communicate with clients through client meetings, phone calls, and email exchanges in collaboration with the Lead Modeler
    • Coordinate drawing development with technical staff
    • Communicate updates to project team
  • Participate in and execute continuous improvement activities:
    • Seek out and participate in continuing education
    • Grow proficiency in material, market, and project types

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate degree or combined education and experience; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1 year of full-time work experience in structural design or related field preferred
  • 1 year of Revit experience
  • Python, Tekla, and SDSII experience preferred
