The Senior Web Developer will design, develop, test, and implement web and API-based software solutions for clients.
This role involves collaborating with application specialists to support enterprise applications, write frontend and backend code, and ensure high-quality, defect-free solutions in compliance with defined standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to support client enterprise applications.
- Develop and unit test RESTful web services and HTTPS-based web applications using tools such as SOAP UI and Postman.
- Translate business requirements into well-documented, standards-compliant code and design documents.
- Write frontend and backend code for web applications using Java, AngularJS, Spring Framework, and related technologies.
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve defects according to service-level agreements.
- Assess and triage technical issues based on urgency and impact, escalating as necessary.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Participate in cross-training and share best practices within and across teams.
- Rapidly learn new applications and technologies to support evolving client needs.
- Foster teamwork and maintain positive working relationships with internal and client teams.
- Analyze vendor-released application upgrades and implement necessary changes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Programmer/Analyst, Software Developer, IT Consultant, or similar role.
- Proven expertise in the following technologies:
- Java, AngularJS, Spring Framework, Spring Security, Hibernate
- SQL Developer/Toad, JIRA, JBoss Cruise Control, Eclipse
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-aware team player with sound decision-making capabilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
