Job Summary
The Content Marketing Strategist will lead the development and execution of content strategies across all Shoppa’s brands, ensuring clear, consistent, and compelling messaging across every marketing channel. This role oversees the creation and distribution of content for email marketing, social media, blogs, white papers, case studies, and website copy. The strategist will collaborate with internal teams to craft engaging stories that reflect each brand’s identity, strengthen customer relationships, and drive measurable engagement and lead generation.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with Shoppa’s business objectives and strengthens brand presence across all subsidiaries.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee content initiatives across multiple channels, including email marketing, social media, blogs, website copy, white papers, and case studies.
Lead editorial planning, maintaining an organized, forward-looking calendar that supports campaign launches and strategic initiatives.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all content aligns with brand messaging and core business goals.
Manage WordPress CMS for content publishing, optimization, and governance across branded websites.
Establish content performance metrics, monitor engagement data, and prepare reports to inform campaign improvements.
Ensure brand voice, tone, and visual consistency are maintained across all assets and channels.
Identify opportunities for new content formats and storytelling approaches to improve audience reach and engagement.
Partner with external writers or creative contributors as needed to scale content output efficiently.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, or related field
4–7 years of hands‑on experience in B2B content marketing, including digital campaign execution
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement comprehensive content strategies supporting lead generation, brand engagement, and sales enablement
Exceptional writing, editing, and story development skills for blogs, social, email, sales assets, landing pages, and campaigns
Experience building, segmenting, and deploying email marketing campaigns via HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo, or similar automation software
Proficiency with content management systems, editorial calendars, and workflow/process tools
Strong project management and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Experience interpreting analytics and engagement metrics (Google Analytics, HubSpot, etc.) to guide optimization and measure ROI
Comfort collaborating with design, digital, and cross-functional teams; experience managing freelancers/agency contributors
Nice-to-Have
Skills in optimizing content for SEO, using keyword research and competitive analysis
Working knowledge of personalization, AI content tools, and marketing technology integrations
Hands‑on experience with A/B testing, campaign automation, and audience segmentation
Experience in multimedia production (video, webinars, podcasts) or coordination
Industry knowledge in material handling, B2B supply chain, or industrial services
Knowledge of content syndication, blogger/influencer outreach, and PR strategy
Experience representing brand voice in live or recorded presentations/events
Physical Demands And Working Conditions
Must be able to sit and work at workstation and computer for several hours at a time. Must stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb stairs, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally. Requires use of telephone and other communications equipment. Must be able to drive vehicle frequently.
Work indoors and outdoors; exposure to temperatures commensurate with outdoor seasonal temperatures.
