Location: Hybrid remote within a 10‑state territory (Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, southern Kentucky, panhandle of Florida, etc). Candidate must live within close proximity to a medium‑to‑large‑sized airport and be able to reach Decatur, Alabama within 3 hours if needed.

Position Summary Senior Manager, Growth & Events – responsible for driving demand generation, lead acquisition, and market insights that fuel the company’s sales pipeline and future growth opportunities. This role combines strategic event leadership, data‑driven marketing, and market analysis to move prospects from the top of the funnel through qualified opportunities.
Essential Functions
Develop and execute a growth strategy that integrates events, campaigns, and market insights to generate qualified leads and accelerate the sales pipeline.
Plan and oversee customer and industry events (conferences, trade shows, hosted events) that increase brand visibility, attract prospects, and drive engagement.
Partner cross‑departmentally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Customer Experience to align growth initiatives with business goals and ensure seamless execution.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to connect event and lead generation programs with product and services marketing campaigns.
Work alongside the Digital Transformation Manager to utilize digital platforms and the customer portal as channels for lead capture, customer engagement, and pipeline growth.
Design and manage multi‑channel lead generation campaigns leveraging events, digital marketing, and strategic partnerships.
Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities, customer trends, and emerging growth areas.
Manage budgets, vendor relationships and external partners to maximize impact and ROI of growth initiatives.
Track, measure, and report on key growth metrics including lead volume, conversion rates, and contribution to revenue pipeline.
Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team that executes growth campaigns, events, and analysis with excellence.
Continuously innovate and optimize programs to improve customer engagement and accelerate business development.
Supervisor Responsibilities Supervises, hires, trains, provides work direction, and supplies problem‑solving assistance for employees. Also oversees daily operations of other staff reporting to this role.
Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing, agriculture, or a related field OR 8 years of experience in marketing‑related positions or hospitality. At least 2 years of experience in an agronomic and/or business management role supporting ag technology and/or agronomy. The Senior Manager must have a desire to gain knowledge of products, technology, and agronomy, and should possess flexibility, interpersonal skills, and creativity.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong understanding of growth marketing principles and the sales funnel, from awareness to pipeline creation.
Expertise in event strategy and execution as a demand generation tool.
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies, marketing automation, and CRM platforms, and ability to align them with growth initiatives.
Experience working cross‑departmentally with sales, operations, digital marketing, and digital transformation teams.
Analytical skills to conduct market research, segmentation, and performance analysis.
Exceptional leadership, project management, and cross‑functional collaboration abilities.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence executives and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
Work Environment The employee regularly works in an office setting.
Physical Demands Regular use of telephone and e‑mail for communication is essential. No heavy lifting is expected, but up to 30 lbs of force may occasionally be required. Good manual dexterity is required for common office equipment. The employee is occasionally required to walk, climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
Travel This role requires some travel for major events such as trade shows, company meetings, customer events, and field days.
