We are currently seeking a UI/UX Designer (Manager) to join our Audit Technology Alliance organization.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of intuitive, effective, and user‑centric experiences for our generative AI products, with a specialized focus on creating seamless Human‑in‑the‑Loop (HITL) workflows

Collaborate closely with product managers, AI engineers, and audit professionals to translate complex user stories and technical requirements into elegant and practical design solutions

Establish and champion a comprehensive design system, including best practices, UI patterns, and component libraries, to ensure a consistent, high‑quality, and reliable user experience across the entire product suite

Drive the product’s user‑centric evolution by conducting user research, leading usability testing sessions, and analyzing feedback to iteratively refine and enhance the human‑agent interaction model

Develop and own the end‑to‑end user journey map, ensuring every interaction is thoughtfully designed to align with the strategic vision of transforming and automating the audit process

Provide hands‑on creation of high‑fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG’s respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent professional experience in UI/UX design for complex, data‑intensive enterprise applications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; master’s degree in Human‑Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing sophisticated, user‑centric interfaces, particularly for products involving AI, machine learning, or complex data analytics

Proven experience working within an Agile development environment, utilizing SDLC tools such as Azure DevOps and Git for design handoffs and cross‑functional collaboration

Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing effective Human‑in‑the‑Loop (HITL) systems that facilitate intuitive and efficient user interaction with AI agents

Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders and navigate the unique challenges of designing for emerging technologies
