The Role We're seeking a Marketing Manager to establish and amplify Onetera's voice in the civic tech space. You'll craft compelling stories that resonate with government leaders, community stakeholders, and the broader civic innovation ecosystem.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute social media strategies for Onetera and our CEO across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, and other relevant platforms

Write compelling blog posts that showcase our impact, share insights on civic innovation, and position us as industry thought leaders

Draft press releases and media materials to amplify company milestones, partnerships, and community success stories

Create and submit conference proposals for speaking opportunities at government, civic tech, and innovation events

Produce video content including product demos, thought leadership pieces, and customer testimonials for YouTube and social channels

Design visual assets and marketing materials that communicate complex government solutions simply and effectively

Collaborate with leadership to translate complex government transformation concepts into accessible, engaging content

Build relationships with civic tech media, government publications, and industry influencers

Develop content calendars and messaging frameworks that align with business objectives and partnership cycles

Qualifications

Preferred 3+ years experience in B2B or B2G marketing, preferably in GovTech, public sector, or other highly-regulated/complex sectors.

Proven track record of managing executive social media presence and thought leadership programs

Proficiency in Screen Studio for creating product demos and screen recordings

Experience with Figma for creating marketing assets, social media graphics, and visual content

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite for advanced design and video editing needs

Experience managing YouTube channels and video content strategy

Excellence in writing across formats - from tweets to long-form blog posts to formal press materials

Experience securing speaking opportunities and managing conference submissions

Understanding of government communication styles and public sector decision-making processes

Portfolio demonstrating ability to translate complex technical or policy concepts for diverse audiences
