Role Overview
- Review medical conditions and pre?screen patients from hospital, SNF, home, or assisted living facilities.
- Develop call plans and strategies to drive volume using the Referral Development System (RDS).
- Use market analysis data to identify new business opportunities within the territory.
- Educate community, referral sources, and physicians on hospital programs and services.
- Position hospital strategically in the marketplace through identified development opportunities.
- Overcome admission barriers, follow?up on admission variables.
Qualifications
- Current drivers license in the employed state with an acceptable driving record.
- CPR certification.
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably as a clinician or technician.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse liaison or successful sales experience in a healthcare environment.
- Familiarity with acute hospitals, rehab facilities, and the local healthcare market preferred.
