SCS Engineers is looking for our first ever Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of our company-wide marketing strategy. This hybrid role offers flexibility while being anchored in our Overland Park office, reporting directly to the Chief Strategy Officer and collaborating with business unit leaders, marketing professionals, and corporate teams to align marketing efforts with business development goals. Youll lead a talented team, manage key campaigns, and oversee the creation of compelling content and collateral that reflects our values and vision.
How You Can Make An Impact
- Develop and refine the organizations marketing strategy to align with overarching business goals.
- Influence strategic planning in collaboration with firm leadership and the business development team.
- Evaluate existing markets, identify target markets and client segments, and define KPIs to measure marketing success.
- Collaborate with the Chief Strategy Officer to develop and oversee the implementation of the firm's marketing plan, aligning it with the corporate mission, vision, and values.
- Lead planning for diverse marketing campaigns including advertising, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.
- Develop and manage the annual corporate marketing budget and objectives, partnering with marketing and business development leaders to allocate resources for ROI.
- Measure and analyze marketing efforts to assess effectiveness and optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights.
- Report progress in implementing the marketing plan and adjust goals and priorities as needed.
- Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, including website content, social media campaigns, email marketing, display materials, and other advertising content.
- Work with the Director of Communications and Graphics staff to ensure brand consistency across materials and channels.
- Direct selection and management of marketing vendors and consultants as needed.
- Direct marketing expenditures to align with the annual budget.
- Build and implement marketing communication plans and business development best practices with peers across the organization.
- Grow the SCS Marketing program through technical alignment, tools, systems, and strategies; direct development of CRM and CMS as needed to achieve objectives.
- Direct development of initiatives and thought-leadership content for collateral materials, website, blogs, media, print, and video based on the marketing plan.
- Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of strong client relationships.
- Spearhead training for technical staff in marketing and business development.
- Lead, manage, and hire marketing staff and mentor teams through company-wide marketing groups and events.
- In partnership with BU business development teams, oversee pursuit planning for significant opportunities or strategic efforts.
- Establish and help enforce marketing policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related major required.
- Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or CPSM is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant marketing experience; at least 5 years in the AEC industry required.
- Advanced experience with customer relationship management (CRM) platforms required.
Pay Range
USD $150,000.00 - USD $175,000.00 /Yr.
