Overview Job Title: UX Designer Location: Charlotte, NC (Day 1 onsite) Duration: Fulltime Responsibilities Proven experience as a UX Designer and Web Developer, preferably in a data science or analytics environment. Proficiency in design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React or similar frameworks). Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design. Experience conducting user research and usability testing. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Portfolio demonstrating both UX design and web development projects, especially those involving data visualization or model interaction. Experience with enterprise web applications and complex workflows. Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., Python, Node.js) is a plus. Knowledge of design systems and component libraries. Understanding of web performance optimization and security best practices. Experience with Agile Methodology and tools (JIRA or Rally). Collaborate with data scientists, data analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate analytical outputs into user-friendly designs. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web applications that visualize and present model results. Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate on designs based on feedback. Develop and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web applications using modern web technologies. Ensure consistency with brand guidelines and design systems across all digital products. Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions. Stay current with UX best practices, design trends, and web development technologies.
