Position Overview

New Country 105.1 KNCI is looking for a full‑time Live Program Manager Drive personality. The role includes a daily voice‑tracked shift on another station within our cluster. You will deliver remarkable content in an interesting, compelling, and entertaining style that attracts the targeted audience, builds ratings and digital users, and contributes to digital platforms such as blogs, podcasts, videos, and social media.

What You Will Do

  • Plan, prepare, produce, and deliver an informative, entertaining, and engaging on‑air presentation that connects with the target audience.
  • Present live and ad‑lib unscripted content with continuity, meaning, and clarity.
  • Participate in promotional appearances and maintain a strong listenership.
  • Contribute to the company’s digital initiative (blogs, podcasts, videos, social media, etc.).
  • Prepare and deliver performances including recording, editing, and playback of telephone calls and other show elements.
  • Operate the control room console, studio equipment, and EAS hardware.
  • Have a strong understanding of how to be impactful in a PPM world.
  • Tell great stories and share life experiences to build audience loyalty.
  • Ensure station formatics are executed properly and as proposed by the Program Director.
  • Secure music required for broadcast.
  • Attend staff meetings and contribute to show ideas.
  • Meet client needs by being available when required, building a positive rapport, and exhibiting a positive attitude.
  • Understand the station’s brand promise and work in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Understand and adhere to FCC Rules and Regulations to protect the company’s FCC license.
  • Work independently when needed, while also taking direction from management and being open to coaching.

Physical Demands

  • Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion.

Compensation

$70,304 – $90,000 annually, based on education, experience, skills, and abilities. The role is eligible for quarterly bonuses based on performance and metrics.
