Base Pay Range: $75,700.00/yr – $183,100.00/yr

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA engineer to drive manual and automated testing within Prime Video Playback services across a broad technology stack. This role involves deep involvement on projects from design to development & deployment, contributing to the future of Prime Video playback on Live Sports, Movies, and TV Shows.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for new features and product releases.
• Bug Identification and Resolution: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify, document, and resolve software defects.
• Automation Tooling: Develop, extend, and maintain automated tests on iOS, Android, Web, and Living Room Clients to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless integration of quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in retrospectives and contribute to process improvements to enhance overall product quality.

About the Team

Playback Testing Solutions maintains the quality of the Prime Video Playback experience across all player types and technology stacks. We operate multiple test labs for both manual and automated testing and engage in testing the most critical features and product launches, directly improving the viewing experience for millions of Amazon customers daily.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
• Experience in manual testing
• Experience in automation testing
• Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in API & Mobile testing
• Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control

Base pay ranges from $75,700 to $183,100 per year, depending on location and experience.
