Reporting to Intuit’s SVP of Creative, the Director of Operations will catalyze the impact of the in‑house Creative Studio in three critical areas: business operations, creative/design operations, and innovation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the team manages its large budget strategically and efficiently to deliver outcomes for the Intuit brand.
  • Prioritize demands and allocate resources to deliver excellence at scale with high velocity.
  • Transform how the team and the broader company innovate in the age of AI by scaling innovation capabilities across the company.
  • Establish and optimize processes for prioritization, planning, workflow management, and project execution.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, implementing best practices in program management, communication, and execution.
  • Align global teams across regions and cornerstone brands for smooth collaboration and seamless processes.
  • Manage a high volume of asset requests, refine the strategic roadmap, and drive communications to keep stakeholders informed and motivated.
  • Collaborate on prioritization and staffing decisions to balance talent with creative and business goals.
  • Track timelines and KPIs to ensure creative work exceeds expectations and develop a reporting system for stakeholders and senior management.
  • Facilitate the development of clear roles and responsibilities across creative production teams.
  • Advocate a culture balancing creative freedom and operational discipline.
  • Drive ongoing creative reviews with stakeholders at all levels to maintain high standards and effective use of time.
  • Develop operational playbooks, guidelines, and AI‑enablement resources to scale and maximize creative operations impact.
  • Develop and grow a high‑performing team of program managers and creative producers.
  • Mentor and coach team members on business impact and growth goals.
  • Serve as a mentor and thought partner to senior leaders and ICs throughout the Creative Studio.
  • Maintain the operating system for the Creative Studio, ensuring consistent frameworks, processes, and rituals.
  • Onboard employees and provide tools and training to accelerate productivity.
  • Measure team health, engagement, and implement programs to keep the team challenged and inspired.
  • Lead change initiatives to adapt the team’s growth and performance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and proxy to the senior leader when needed, ensuring alignment with strategy.
  • Partner with functions and leaders across the company to align creative output, objectives, and strategic goals.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and drive cross‑functional alignment through clear, repeatable processes.
  • Build collaborative relationships and resolve conflicts to promote seamless workflows.
  • Act as a liaison between creative teams and senior management as needed.
  • Ensure the team has the right tools and platforms for effective workflow and digital asset management, leveraging AI tools.
  • Champion automation and technology opportunities to maximize productivity and future‑proof operations.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and project management tools.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools into existing workflows and train staff.
  • Establish and manage the team’s budget, monitoring spending and identifying cost‑saving opportunities.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage scopes of work to deliver real value.
  • Manage onboarding and training of vendors and build the ecosystem for event‑related vendors and contractors.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in design and/or marketing related field.
  • Proven success leading large, cross‑functional teams through change and innovation.
  • Experience leading craft excellence through operational excellence.
  • Deep understanding of the creative process.

Compensation

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay‑for‑performance rewards approach. This position is eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits in accordance with applicable plans and programs. Pay ranges for the Bay Area, California: $257,000.00 – $347,500.00.
