Job Purpose Our recruitment marketing efforts involve planning and executing engaging recruiting events, creating compelling job advertisements across multiple platforms, and providing critical operational support to our provider acquisition team as well as our marketing team. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, grow, and make an immediate impact in a supportive environment. You'll enjoy the flexibility of remote work while collaborating in person 1‑2 days per week at our corporate office in Schaumburg, IL—giving you the best of both worlds: focused work‑from‑home time and valuable face‑to‑face mentorship and team collaboration. You'll gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of recruitment marketing while working closely with our recruiting team in addition to our marketing team.
Responsibilities/Duties Recruiting Events & Employer Branding
Plan, coordinate, and execute recruiting events including career dental school events, trade shows, and information sessions.
Manage all event logistics: venue booking, catering, materials, signage, booth setup, and supplies.
Coordinate campus recruiting activities and maintain relationships with dental school administrators and student government representatives.
Track event ROI, attendance metrics, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Order and maintain inventory of recruiting materials, promotional items, and branded swag.
Manage event budget and vendor relationships.
Support recruiters at trade shows and hiring events as needed.
Job Advertising & Online Presence
Create and post compelling job advertisements on LinkedIn, Indeed, company website, and niche dental industry platforms as directed.
Optimize job postings for search visibility and candidate engagement.
Manage job board subscriptions, vendor relationships, and platform performance.
Monitor posting performance and recommend platform optimizations.
Collaborate with recruiters to ensure job descriptions are accurate, engaging, and compliant.
Maintain consistent employer brand messaging across all recruiting channels.
Develop and schedule social media content for recruitment marketing (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
Research and recommend new advertising channels and innovative recruitment marketing strategies.
Recruitment Operations & Administrative Support
Maintain applicant tracking system (ATS) accuracy and data integrity.
Generate recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership team.
Track recruiting budget expenses and purchase orders.
Manage recruiting supply inventory and coordinate orders.
Support new hire onboarding logistics and paperwork processing including through the “pre‑onboarding” process.
Maintain recruiting documentation, templates, and compliance records.
Assist in other company marketing projects as time allows and needs arise.
Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements Qualifications/Skill Sets
Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written communication skills with ability to craft compelling, engaging content.
Creative problem‑solving mindset with attention to brand consistency and detail.
Self‑starter who is eager to learn and take initiative.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
Proficiency in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook).
Tech‑savvy with ability to quickly learn new platforms, software tools, and systems.
Knowledge of the following areas helpful, not required: Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
Job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn.
Graphic design tools (Canva).
Healthcare or dental industry.
Event planning or campus activities.
Marketing analytics and reporting tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to represent Familia Dental at recruiting events and engage with prospective candidates, dental school staff, and vendors.
Data‑driven approach with willingness to learn how to use metrics to inform decisions and demonstrate ROI.
Must hold a valid Driver's license.
Must be able to travel 10‑20% of the year for recruiting events.
Must be located in or near Schaumburg, IL area.
Education And Experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Will consider candidates with relevant coursework, internships, or transferable skills.
Internship experience in recruitment, event planning, HR, marketing, or related fields is a plus.
Campus involvement (event planning, student organizations, marketing committees) valued.
Experience with job boards, social media marketing, or content creation a plus.
Excellent computer skills including MS Office, including Excel.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the talent acquisition field.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in a stationary position, sitting and/or standing, for extended time (e.g., at a desk, working at a computer, attending a trade show).
Lifting and transporting event materials up to 30‑40 lbs.
Occasional evening and weekend hours for recruiting events.
Ability to travel by automobile, train, or commercial airlines.
