JOB TITLE: Chief Social Media Officer (CSMO)
ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a top-of-the-stack social media architect to build and scale a social and influencer ecosystem that directly fuels explosive revenue growth. You’re not here to post — you’re here to own an audience, build strategic partnerships, and drive multi-million dollar results.
You will build and lead a powerhouse social team, manage and monetize influencer relationships, and develop the most innovative social strategies in the industry — across organic, paid, and affiliate ecosystems. If you’ve ever helped make a brand famous through social, this is your next masterpiece.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Build a multi-platform social ecosystem (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, Snap, Threads)
Lead influencer strategy — from big-name talent deals to viral micro-influencer armies
Own paid social and affiliate programs, with real ROI accountability
Design and execute viral campaigns, social stunts, and platform-native content series
Develop KPI dashboards that tie directly to CAC, ROAS, and LTV
Manage internal social team + external agencies, creators, and media buyers
Act as the public voice and architect of our brand on social platforms
Collaborate with founders, marketing, product, and sales — reporting directly to the CEO
WHO YOU ARE
A social media and creator economy killer — not a follower, a builder
5–10+ years of experience owning social for breakout brands (or viral DTC products)
Deep network of creators, influencer managers, talent agencies, media buyers
Portfolio of campaigns that generated millions in revenue or impressions
Can write a post, close a deal, build a team, and pitch a board — all in the same week
Fluent in TikTok trends, YouTube monetization, affiliate rev share, and UGC licensing
Able to work at the intersection of performance marketing and viral culture
COMPENSATION
Base Salary: $250K plus major incentive program
Bonus / Commission: Unlimited upside based on growth performance
Equity / Profit Share: Negotiable based on experience
Team Budget: Full control over hiring and social tools
