Position Overview
Forward Global is seeking a strategic and well‑connected
Partner
to help drive our next stage of growth as part of our
communications team.
In this role, you will lead high‑impact client engagements, drive business development, and provide expert counsel across public affairs, issues management, brand positioning, and other integrated communications engagements. The ideal addition to our leadership team will arrive with deep communications and media relations experience, an entrepreneurial mindset, a readiness to mentor a high‑performing team, and a proven ability to build and manage client portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
Client Leadership & Strategy
Act as a senior advisor to corporate, non‑profit, and trade association clients on public policy, issues and crisis management, and the intersection between communications and policymaking.
Lead development of multi‑channel public affairs strategies, including storytelling, stakeholder engagement, media relations, and grassroots advocacy.
Leverage and cultivate high‑level relationships with clients, policymakers, the media, and other stakeholders.
Mentor and lead a team of consultants, strategists, and analysts across client accounts.
Collaborate with other Partners on firm strategy, talent development, and operational excellence.
Represent the firm at industry and policy events, enhancing brand visibility and influence.
Business Development
Drive growth by cultivating new business opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
Lead proposal development and strategy presentations.
Maintain and grow a robust network of contacts in policy, government, media, and industry.
Candidate Profile
12+ years of experience in public affairs or strategic communications.
Deep knowledge of the evolving media relations and brand positioning landscape.
Proven leadership experience, ideally within a consultancy or firm environment.
Established relationships with media and industry stakeholders.
Exceptional communication, persuasion, and analytical skills.
Bachelor's degree in political science, communications, public policy, law, or a related field; Master’s or JD preferred.
