About The Role A

Senior Digital Marketing Manager

at 321 has extensive experience in media strategy and hands‑on digital advertising, lead generation, and implementing paid, organic, and social media campaigns across various networks. They understand the media landscape, manage a small team, drive strategy for integrated media initiatives, interpret data and establish KPIs, and help provide value to clients by generating ROI.

In this role, the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be fluent with first‑ and third‑party data and associated industry tools for audience identification and targeting. They will be a strong collaborator working upstream across disciplines to bring strategy and customer journeys to life through media activation and creativity. They will also assist in pioneering a unique and strategic relationship with a partner offering data and advertising technology.

What You’ll Do

Digital Leadership

Assume total ownership of the data department, including personnel, daily operations and tools/platforms.

Interact with the digital/data team to ensure resources are correctly assigned.

Develop and execute lead generation strategies aligned with each client’s funnel and sales goals.

Manage the data department’s workload and skill set to properly assign and complete projects.

Set and maintain digital philosophy and standard of digital output across the agency.

Provide weekly updates to the Integrator and monthly/quarterly reviews with leadership.

Regularly present plans, recommendations, and results to internal and client marketing teams.

Project and Client Management

Research, author, and assist in production of all digital department proposals, pitches, and RFPs.

Ensure client marketing objectives are supported with digital strategies, including go‑to‑market plans.

Interface with project teams, director of account, and integrator to ensure client media plans are executed per approved strategies.

Oversee development, execution, tracking, and reporting of media campaigns.

Liaise with clients on digital matters outside typical account management.

Synthesizing Data and Reporting

Oversee development of robust, dynamic, and highly visual reports and dashboards to answer key business and media questions.

Continuously test and optimize campaigns, platforms, channels, audiences, and creative.

Organize, categorize and ingest big data for consumer profile building.

Turn trends and data into compelling insights, strategies, and plans that drive meaningful results.

Leverage data visualization tools (Power BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau) for storytelling and optimization.

Understand automation platforms such as CRM and user journey mapping and workflow development.

Team Building and Support

Recruit, hire, build out, and train digital/data team staff.

Ensure the Digital/Data team properly manages and supports client initiatives.

Review work, troubleshoot, and provide feedback to digital/data teams.

Manage and cultivate the career development of team members, including evaluation, staffing plans, timelines, and budgets.

Hold responsibility for overall team success with high degree of independence.

Secure, qualify, and manage external digital/data resources when necessary.

Stay Current & Reliable

Be a self‑starter and quick learner, delivering work on time and within scope.

Develop regular thought leadership around omni‑channel consumer‑centric performance marketing.

Explore new platforms, channels, tools, and emerging technologies to provide innovation to the agency and clients.

What You Have

7+ years experience in strategic marketing, data analytics, and hands‑on digital media placement.

Strong priority, multi‑tasking, problem‑solving, and professionalism.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Track record of project and client success.

Experience in a fast‑paced agency environment.

Strong lead generation campaign management experience.

Experience building teams that motivate each other and drive higher quality work.
