Job Description
We are seeking a Hospice Marketing Liaison to join our team! You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing key market information, as well as identifying areas of improvement to increase company revenue and brand.
Responsibilities
Analyze the potential of the company's service area to determine target markets
Perform customer service activities and facilitate communication between The Care Team and referral sources
Visit Doctor offices, hospital discharge desks, Assisted Living facilities, and other possible sources of referral to present Agency credentials and obtain patient referrals
Submit required reporting in a timely and accurate manner
Develop sales/marketing objectives and sales projections
Develop a marketing plan, identifying priorities, and set a reasonable timetable
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures regarding infection prevention, control, standard precautions, and infection identification reporting
Always maintain patient confidentiality, including all HIPAA regulations
Attend The Care Teams business meetings as required
Identify opportunities for additional and improved services to address customer needs
Qualifications
Meet or exceed the expected outlined referrals
Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of all market segments relative to key referral sources and competitor's market positioning
Have working knowledge of the sales process and share information with appropriate organization personnel
Have working knowledge of community resources
Knowledge of and adherence to corporate compliance practices as they relate to the marketing/sales function
Must pass a criminal background check & MVR check
Complete health statements acknowledging the ability to perform the duties of the position
Valid state driver’s license
Proof of current automobile insurance
At least 2-year experience in marketing of home health or hospice agencies
