Senior System Layout Designer

to become a part of the HIROTEC AMERICA, Inc. team. Duties and Responsibilities:

The Senior System Layout Designer’s responsibilities include: Preparing system layouts of automotive assembly/stamping lines or various processes Performing field checks and documenting findings Creating equipment blocks, models generic tooling, and using block libraries Working with internal teams including; processing, design and simulation to achieve a valid system layout Applying tooling/robot placement to attain a functional system Adhering to customer specifications per project Having a good understanding of assembly/stamping system functionality including process, design, robotics, controls, and manufacturing knowledge Requirements

Associate’s Degree in Engineering, or similar field Minimum seven to ten years related experience and/or training Knowledge in blueprint reading, design, processing, controls, and manufacturing Able to understand standard drafting practices, detailing, dimensioning and projection Capable of understanding basic manufacturing plant structure, processing and material flow Must be proficient in AutoCAD & FactoryCAD and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Experience in Catia and UniGraphics is but not required If you are interested in applying for this job please press the Apply Button and follow the application process.
