About the role.

Reporting to the President Commercial Growth NA, the VP, NA Marketing Potato will effectively lead, manage, and have broad responsibility for marketing strategy and capability development at the NA level. The individual will have a mandate to strengthen McCain's brand equity, innovation platforms, and marketing effectiveness while enabling consistency across the NA region through scalable tools, processes, and best practices. This incumbent will lead strategic development and provide thought leadership on brand positioning, platform growth, portfolio strategy, and marketing capability building. The VP NA Marketing Potato will work in close partnership with commercial leaders to identify and develop key growth opportunities that drive brand relevance, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation across both Retail and Foodservice channels. A strategic, commercially astute marketing Leader who pairs big-picture thinking with disciplined execution. Comfortable "zooming in and out" - from shaping long-range brand architecture to rolling up sleeves on pack design or ROI dashboards. Energized by building capability, leveraging technology, and uniting culturally diverse teams behind one brand purpose.

What you'll be doing.

Strategic Leadership:

Define and deliver the marketing vision and strategic agenda to support regional/global business objectives.

Consumer & Market Insight:

Oversee data-driven marketing insights - understanding evolving consumer trends, competitor landscapes, and market dynamics. Innovation Pipeline:

Collaborate with R&D and category teams to develop high-impact new products aligned with consumer needs. ROI & Budget Management:

Establish performance metrics and manage marketing investments to maximize returns. Cross-Functional Leadership:

Build and lead high-performing teams, and liaise with sales, supply chain, finance, and innovation functions. Sustainability & Purpose Alignment:

Ensure marketing programs support McCain's sustainable and purpose-driven initiatives. Stakeholder Engagement:

Represent marketing in senior leadership discussions and liaise with external partners and agencies. Marketing Planning & Capability:

Build and maintain the annual NA Marketing Plan template, calendar and governance rhythm. Own regional marketing spend tracking, efficiency benchmarking and ROI dashboards (media mix, working/non-working ratios, etc.). Chair Marketing Review process; ensure data-driven growth decisions. North America Brand Equity:

Define, protect and evolve McCain's brand and purpose, embedding "Real, Simple, Enjoyable Food" and regenerative agriculture commitments. Oversee portfolio strategy guidelines (Retail & Foodservice). Shape regional pack architecture, visual identity systems and sustainability claims. Lead partnership strategy (licensing, co-brands, 3P platforms) that amplifies equity. What you'll need to be successful.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business; MBA preferred. 12+ years senior marketing leadership in multi-region CPG or foodservice, including P&L accountability. Proven success building global brands and platforms while partnering with regional teams. Demonstrated expertise in media optimization, analytics/AI tools and ROI management. Track record driving sustainability-led innovation and packaging transformation. 5+ years leading diverse, dispersed teams; adept at coaching and elevating capability.

Other Information.

• Travel: 25-35 % (subject to business needs).

• Role primarily office-based with flexible hybrid working in line with McCain policy

Compensation Package

: $300,000 - $350,000 USD annually + bonus eligibility + Long-Term Incentive eligibility
