Role Description This opportunity is for two positions—Senior Interior Design Architect and Intermediate Interior Designer—both full-time, on-site roles based in the New York (NY/NJ region). The selected professionals will play key roles on high-profile projects for a major client in the New York City area, contributing directly to concept design, space planning, and interior coordination. The candidate must possess comprehensive knowledge of architectural and interior elements, along with a strong understanding of MEP and structural systems. Expertise in clash detection, interior design coordination, and technical documentation is essential, including proficiency in FF&E specifications, egress, and life safety requirements.

Candidates must have strong, hands-on experience in Interior Design, from millwork details, finish schedules, lighting layouts, furniture coordination, and interior elevations and schematic design through construction documentation. The role involves client collaboration, multidisciplinary coordination, and design management to ensure projects meet both creative and technical standards.

Qualifications Proficiency in Architecture, Interior Design Experienced Senior Interior Design Architect with a proven track record (10+ years) Experienced Intermediate Interior Designer with a proven track record (6+ years) Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field; licensure is preferred but not mandatory Experience in interior design for Institutional, commercial and/or residential projects is a plus Knowledge of relevant design software such as Revit, or SketchUp Experience in Design Management and overseeing project development Skill in Construction Drawings and ensuring adherence to project standards Strong Communication skills for client interface Detail-oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
