Overview
Founded in 1919 as Phototype and recently rebranded as the Olberding Brand Family, we are a family company focused on delivering the highest quality and client service in the graphics design, management and printing industry. We Design, Optimize and Protect Brands. Our clients are primarily consumer products companies and printers and we help them by delivering a broad range of services from brand strategy and packaging design, to adaptive design across various print and digital platforms, all the way to color management and the production of printing plates. With our world headquarters located in Cincinnati, we have over 450 employees throughout the United States and offices in Europe and Asia.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day activities in the artwork process for packaging graphics/special projects for assigned group of brand(s); communicate, document and direct projects across disciplines
Participate in client cross-functional meetings
Gather and validate all inputs and their accuracy for order initiation
Establish and communicate the timeline for all projects, and ensure all parties are informed of impending project changes that impact the deliverable or timing
Ensure milestones are kept on task and all team members have necessary items to complete
Facilitate weekly status meetings with internal design and production teams
Accountable for the graphic routing and approval process
Provide a high level of customer service, with proactive thought, action and follow-up to both external and internal clients
Manage estimates and client budgets
Facilitate open and regular communication between key stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and objectives
Onboard new team members, both internal and external
Leverage consumer insights and knowledge of client’s business to add value to creative development
Qualifications
Strong project management and organization skills
Possess a client service mindset: passionate about servicing the client, the team and other OBF employees
Assertive, process oriented and proactive problem solving
Working knowledge of business software such as Office, FileMaker Pro and Acrobat
3-5 years’ experience in packaging graphics management, account/project management, customer service, or print production management
Experience with consumer products packaging, creative design, and production artwork
College degree (e.g., Bachelor of Arts) or equivalent experience within appropriate discipline such as Business, Graphic Arts, Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the job required
