Trade Marketing Manager for a Growing and Exciting Firm in the Wine Industry.
About the Role
Use your creative skills, your people skills, your understanding of marketing trends- bridging brand marketing and sales efforts. Your strategic thinking and hands-on execution—balancing creative brand storytelling with data-driven performance analysis to ensure measurable results.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead marketing initiatives that drive sales growth across retail, on-premise, and e-commerce channels.
Act as a vital link between sales, operations, marketing, and creative teams to ensure trade campaigns are strategically developed, flawlessly executed, and measured for impact.
Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver engaging trade programs that maximize brand visibility at the point of sale.
Create and manage POS materials and trade collateral to engage retailers and distributors.
Plan and implement trade campaigns, including events, tastings, and shopper programs.
Build strong relationships and collaborate with retail, sales and distributor partners for effective market execution to drive sales growth.
Ensure brand consistency and compliance in all trade activities.
Manage budgets for trade marketing projects and events.
Analyze program effectiveness and provide optimization insights.
Identify new promotional opportunities in key accounts and emerging channels.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to enhance brand positioning.
Monitor and report on trade marketing program performance.
Support legal and compliance requirements for promotions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in related field required; 6–10 years strongly preferred, ideally within wine, spirits, or consumer packaged goods.
Strong knowledge of retail and on-premise environments.
Proven success managing trade campaigns, POS, and distributor/retailer partnerships.
Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
Analytical and results-driven mindset.
Passion for wine industry, branding, and consumer engagement.
