Part-time Podcast Host/On-Air Talent

Sinclair Inc. KUTV/KMYU/KJZZ in Salt Lake City has an exciting opportunity for a part time Podcast host. This job requires the ability to originate content, host and produce Podcasts under the Talkin’ Sports umbrella. Day-to-day tasks include preparing, producing and delivering Podcast content and other digital content creation. Other responsibilities include multimedia content creation, podcasting, scriptwriting, and maintaining a strong social media presence to engage with the audience. Also coordinating Digital/Sports app content including podcasts, digital broadcasts and other digital content creation. On-air responsibilities include videography, editing, anchoring, reporting, play-by-play, sideline reporting, color commentary or other responsibilities as directed by Station Manager or Sports Director. This role requires the ability to work at a fast pace with tight deadlines and to balance several projects at once. It is an opportunity to work for a station and a community where local sports matters digitally/on line, as well as broadcast television.
Skills and Experience
Extensive Podcast hosting and digital content creation experience. A self-starter who can generate own Podcast ideas daily and digital content creation. Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to maintain an active social media presence to build your brand and generate original Podcast ideas. Proficiency in multimedia content creation. Knowledge of social media, podcasting and digital content strategy.
Requirements and Qualifications
Previous Podcast and digital content creation is required. At least two years of digital creation/podcast experience. Previous experience working in a team environment is a must. Other duties as assigned.
